Robert T. Heskin

Robert T. Heskin, 68, a resident of Grayslake, passed away suddenly Sunday July 27, 2014. He was born January 8, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Stephen and Genevieve (nee: Green) Heskin. Robert served for the Chicago Police Department for 33 years. He was an Army veteran having served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Gilbert Church. Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jennie, his children Victoria (Stephen) Sears and Robert Scott (Sharon) Heskin, his grandchildren Cristina, June, and Leslie Sears, and Matthew, Sara, Brian, Megan and Joey Heskin, his great-grandchildren Rei and Aiden, his brother William Heskin, his nephews Brian and Christopher Heskin, and his in-laws James and Chloe Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Elizabeth Heskin, his beloved daughter Krystal, his aunt and uncle Eileen and Bill Quigley, and his dog Rocky. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday July 31, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday August 1, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Gilbert Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL. The interment will be held privately.
