Richard Ray, Sr.

Richard Ray Sr., 94, passed away on Aug. 26, 2020, after suffering a stroke. He was on his way to fly his remote control airplanes, his life long hobby. He lived independently, and on his own terms. He met on Tuesdays with a group of friends the R.O.M.E.O.s (retired old men eating out). He was a WWII veteran who proudly served in the US Navy on the submarine Quillback. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Cleta who passed away in 2009. He leaves behind three children Linda Williams (Ronnie), Deborah Klein (Jerry) and Richard Ray Jr. (Margaret), seven grandchildren, Rhonda Garamoni (Wayne), Derek Williams (Amy), Lisa Homerin (Christopher), Nick Ray (Kristin), Brittany Ray, Tara Garcia (Del) and Melissa Klein. Seven great grandchildren, Danny Garamoni, Kyle Williams, Paige Williams, Toni Garamoni, Nicholas Klein-Sampsel, Anthony Homerin and Briella Garcia.
