Richard Hernandez

Richard Hernandez, 71, of Round Lake, IL, passed away on May 17, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 13, 1954 in Chicago to Humberto and Gloria Hernandez.

Rich is survived by his wife, Svetlana Hernandez; his children, Robert (Penny) Buehler, Wayne (Kim) Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Richard (Melody) Hernandez, Pam Markus; his stepchildren, Igor (Yanina) and Leanna (Stepan); his grandchildren, Mirissa, Cody, Ashley, Danielle, Nicole, Autumn, Zoe, Hazel, Alexis; his step-grandchildren, Daniel, Diana, and Dmitri; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Henryk, and Arlo; and his siblings, Rebecca Kotwica, Rosemary Sullivan, Jesse Hernandez, and Eric Rodriguez.

A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at The Chapel, 1966 W. Hawley Street, Mundelein, IL 60060 on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 3pm until 6pm, with a funeral service commencing at 6pm.  All arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
