Ralph Q. Calvelo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ralph Q. Calvelo on January 20, 2025, at the age of 59.  Ralph was born on September 16, 1965 in the Philippines.

Family was everything to Ralph, he was a devoted husband and a loving father.  Ralph found immense joy in traveling with his wife and daughter to visit family in North Carolina, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Ralph was a loyal and cherished friend who formed strong connections with his buddies and their families through countless unforgettable gatherings. He had a passion for basketball, bowling, deep-sea fishing, and golf.

Ralph's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved and touched.  Although he is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 29 years, Genoveva "Nanette" Calvelo, his daughter Robyn Calvelo, his father Ruperto Calvelo, and his siblings Jocelyn Calvelo, Richard (Liberty) Calvelo, Juvy Marie (Joselito) Leones, and Marilyn (Ferdinand) Crisostomo.  He was preceded in death by his mother Julita Calvelo.

A memorial mass is scheduled for January 27, 2025 at 11:00 am, Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Road Gurnee, IL 60031.
