Patricia Morrison

Patricia Morrison, 75, of Round Lake Beach passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Paradise Park Memory Care Facility in Fox Lake, IL.  Pat was born November 30, 1938 in Chicago, IL.  She worked for 38 years for Illinois Bell having worked her way up to a managerial position.  She retired and moved to New Jersey where she became a rural mail carrier for 11 years.  She was also a member of the Phone Company Pioneers.  Pat was an animal lover and a lover of all Chicago sports teams.  She was athletic, outgoing, and loved to dance.  She leaves behind her sister, Anne Minkler of Round Lake Beach and her nieces and nephews, Vicki (Doug) Wisner of Marengo, David Ponte and Teresa Greslik of McHenry, Bonnie (Lonnie) Harris of Fox Lake, Sherman Minkler of Round Lake Beach, Susan (Dan) Zigmund of Round Lake Beach, and Patti (Jim) Gerhardt of Bartlett, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Angus and Margaret Morrison of Chicago and her sister Isabelle Ponte of Johnsburg.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  All arrangements were entrusted to STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E.
