Patricia A. Hoffman

Patricia Ann Hoffman, 80, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at her home. She was born November 16, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI to Victor and Hattie (nee: Popowski) Gutsch. Pat was a certified master gardener, a very good tennis player, loved arts and crafts, and was devoted to her husband and children. Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years, J. Thomas Hoffman, whom she wed on January 18, 1958 in Cudahy, WI, her children Kurt of Savannah, GA, Laurie of Powder Springs, GA, and Karl (Julie) of Acworth, GA, her granddaughter Carley of Acworth, GA, and her sister Jean (Del) Wagner of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May, 9, 2015 at 10:30am at the funeral chapel. The interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
