Pamela M. Devore

Pamela Mae DeVore, age 69, a resident of Mesa, AZ, passed away on August 11, 2022 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, AZ.  She was born on July 2, 1953 in Tacoma, WA to Robert and Shirley Weidner.  Pam was a dedicated VA Nurse at the  North Chicago VA for 37 years until her retirement in 2017, when she moved to Mesa and volunteered in her community and the local hospital. Pam also was on the Security committee at Fountain of the Sun. She was a beloved Niece, Aunt and Friend to many.

Pam is survived by her son, Robert (Jennifer nee Sears) DeVore of Wadsworth, IL; her trusted and beloved dog, Sula DeVore of Mesa, AZ; and her brothers, Gerald (Julie nee Kokum) Weidner of Gurnee, IL and Daniel (Carolyn Nobbe) Weidner of Eagle River, WI.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 15000 W. Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, IL on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:30am.  A memorial visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children Hospital.
