Otis L. Hedlund

Otis L. Hedlund, 91, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away July 17, 2025, at his home.  He was born July 8, 1934, in Traverse City, MI to Eva and Victor Hedlund.

Otis was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War.  He was a past member of the Wheeling Jaycees, the Toastmasters club, and a former Village of Wheeling Trustee.  He was a member of St. Andrews Church in Mundelein, and enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing.

Otis is survived by his children Mark (Kerry) Hedlund, Tim (Ouley) Hedlund, and Michelle Schumacher, his grandchildren Jennifer Hedlund, Steve Hedlund, Scottie Hedlund, Daniel Hedlund, Jessica Schumacher, Amanda (Sean) Bromfield, and Michael Schumacher, his great-grandchildren Olivia, Jayla, Kaylee, and Logan, and his brother Ted Hedlund Jr.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Tiiu Hedlund, and his sister Lee Neuckranz.
