Olga W. Gelzenlichter

Olga W. Gelzenlichter, 92, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on August 16, 2026 in Barrington, IL. She was born on March 26, 1934 in Poland to Albert and Berta Wiedmann. 

Olga is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Karney; her grandchildren, Dianna (Harry) Bronson, Robyn (Mick) MacCallum, Richard (Andrea) Karney, and Darryl (Amy) Karney; her 5 great grandchildren; and her brother, Emil Wiedmann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduard Gelzenlichter; and her sons, Arthur and Richard Karney.

A funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 1pm. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment will be held privately at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
