Nicolasa Nava De Pineda

Nicolasa Nava de Pineda, 79, a resident of Mundelein, passed away November 22, 2024 in her home surrounded by loved ones.  She was born September 10, 1945 in Mexico to Clemente and Catalina Nava.

Nicolasa was a loving mom and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, and playing Bingo. Nicolasa was a strong, resilient, kind woman whose memories and love will now live through her husband, children, and grandkids.

Nicolasa is survived by her husband of 55 years, Inocente Pineda, her children Martha Muniz, Patricia (Alejandro) Pineda, and Vicente (Erica) Pineda, her grandchildren Daysi Pineda, Eric Muniz, Mario Muniz, Alejandro Ortiz, Catherine Ortiz, Christopher Ortiz, Cynthia Ortiz, Zaida Pineda, and Camila Pineda, her great-grandchildren Georgia Petropoulus, Illiana Petropoulus, Alexandria Oritz, Isaac Delatorre, Chrisitan Salazar, and Josie Lira, her sister Roma Nava.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Juan Nava, and her sister Juana Nava.

A visitation and funeral service are scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
