Muriel M. Martin

Muriel M. Martin, age 74, of Grayslake, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.  She was born January 18, 1944 in Fall River, MA.  Muriel was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church.  She was a retired teacher who had taught at Lake Shore Catholic Academy. Muriel was an avid, passionate educator in the  Catholic school system of the Archdiocese of Chicago for more than two decades. She loved to garden and read in her spare time.  She is survived by her son, Cameron Martin; her granddaughter, Lorelei Martin; and her siblings, Al Bussiere, Theresa Noel, Jackie Gates, and Diane Leonardo.  Friends of the family may visit from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
