Mildred A. Johnson

Mildred A. Johnson, 91, a resident of Libertyville, IL, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Winchester House in Libertyville. She was born June 10, 1926 to Elsie and Henry Ahrens. Mildred was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville.

Mildred is survived by her children, John Johnson of Mundelein and Linda Bettini of Grayslake; her grandchildren; her siblings, Willard (Carolyn) Ahrens of Wauconda, Marion Carswell of Mt. Prospect, Helen Ahrens of Morton Grove and Barbara Ahrens of Morton Grove; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alwin R. Johnson and her parents.

Friends of the family may visit at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be held at Willow Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winchester House.
