May A. Memenga, 89, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born September 27, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Leonardo and Lena Digangi. May was a member of the Round Lake Senior Club at the Round Lake Park District and a member of St. Joseph Church in Round Lake. May is survived by her children Diane (Robert) Tarello, Gloria Memenga, Donald (Kathy) Memenga, Steven (Debbie) Memenga, Jeffrey (Michelle) Memenga, Bryan (Erin) Memenga, her sister Madeline Simmons, and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Leonard and Joseph Digangi. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 9:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 114 N. Lincoln Ave. Round Lake, IL 60073.
