Marilyn D. Bez

Marilyn D. Bez, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, age 79, a resident of Lake Villa, passed away on December 4, 2022 at Anthology of Grayslake.  She was born on March 28, 1943 in Chicago to Franklin H. and Ruth M. (nee Christiansen) Hanson.  Marilyn liked to quilt and sew, loved to cook and bake, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, James, over 60 years; her son, Mark of Grayslake; her grandchildren, Shaolin, Emily, and Logan; and her siblings, Richard F. Hanson and Ruth A. Bigelow.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mike; her brother, John; and her daughter-in-law, Christy.

A memorial service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 5:00pm.  A memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00pm until the time of the memorial service.
