Marie T. Caviness

Marie Therese Caviness, 76, a resident of Round Lake, passed away May 28, 2019 at her home.  She was born September 19, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Michael William and Lucille Martha (nee: Strzycki) Tunick.  Marie was a lover of nature and enjoyed taking photos of the beauty surrounding her .  She loved to travel and was an avid reader even cofounding the Lakeside Readers Book Club.  Most of all, Marie loved spending her time with family and friends.  Marie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lewis, and her sister Linda Tunick of Arizona.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  A memorial visitation and service is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with the memorial service commencing at 12:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
