Marianna Gettelman

Marianna Gettelman, age 49, of Round Lake, passed away on September 25, 2021 at Loyola Hospital in Maywood.  She was born on January 16, 1972 in Mexico. Parents are Juventino and Juanita (nee Rangel) Aldana.  Marianna owned her own taxi business since 2001 and loved to bring her beloved dogs with her to work.  Marianna was very creative and loved to travel.  She was a selfless person who most of all loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Gettelman, whom she married in 2016; her parents; her step-daughter, Sienna Gettelman; her siblings, Rohmzez Ixexi, SanJuanita (Tom Ellison) Gonzalez, and Sara Aldana; and two nieces and a nephew.

A funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 5pm.  A visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 1pm until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.  For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org .
