Maria L. Archuleta

Maria L. Archuleta, age 54, a resident of Round Lake Heights, passed away on May 3, 2022 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. She was born on August 25, 1967 in Mexico to Ismael Alamos and Gudelia Quiroz.

As a loving wife and mother, Maria is survived by her husband, Herminio, of 27 years; her daughters, Stephanie of Wheeling and Samantha of Round Lake Heights; her siblings, Virginia, Maria De Rosario, Ismael, Ana Lilia, Ramon, and Gerardo; and many nieces and nephews. Maria was a smart, beautiful, caring, and funny person who always put others before herself and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10am.  Interment will be held at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.  For more information, please call (847) 223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org
