Margaret Ann Radke

Margaret Ann Radke, 101, a resident of Grayslake, IL passed away on July 4, 2022. Margaret was born on April 21, 1921 in Litchfield Minnesota to Oscar and Katherine Anderson nee Reagen.

Margaret was a member of St. Andrews Church in Grayslake. She was employed for many years to the city of Grayslake and received a certificate of appreciation for her extra ordinary service from the mayor.

Margaret is survived by her son Jim (Donna) Radke, Viroqua, WI, her daughter in law Penny (George) Bailitz, Twin Lakes, WI, her grandchildren Kermit Radke, Kurt (Heather) Radke, Darek (Dawn) Radke, Bret (Rose) Radke, Grant (Mary) Radke, Robin (Doug) Nehls, Liz Radke, Chuck Radke. 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Edward Radke, her son Kermit Radke Sr., her step son Edward Radke, her brothers Edward Anderson, Bernard Anderson, and her sisters Mary Perisan, Kay Foley, Hanah Becker, Helen Winn.

A visitation and funeral service for Margaret will be held on Friday July 8, 2022 at the Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with the funeral service commencing at 1:00pm.  Burial will be at the Avon Centre Cemetery 21300 W Shorewood Dr Grayslake, IL, 60030.
