Lottie E. Carter

Lottie Elizabeth Carter, age 93, a resident of Lindenhurst, IL passed away on November 5, 2024 at her home.  She was born on September 14, 1931 in Hawkins, Wisconsin to John and Mary Sokolowski.

Lottie was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lake Villa, IL.

Lottie is survived by her son, Kevin (Cheri) Carter of Spring Grove, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carter; her father, John Sokolowski; and her mother, Mary Maslowski, and twelve brothers and sisters; Walter, Peter, Eddy, Tony, Harry; Ann Kopera, Sophie Barryhill, Josephine Lazar, Jenny Gryga, Mary Kuznar, Elaine Halverson, and Hellen McHugh.

A graveside committal service will be held at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, 8600 N.
