Lloyd R. Sparks

Lloyd R. Sparks, age 70, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home.  He was born on November 6, 1948 in Colbert County, Alabama. He was a Mason, a veteran of the US Army and member of the American Legion.  He was retired from Drake Concrete. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Barbara Sparks, whom he married on June 17, 1990; his children, Tina Sparks, Tiffany (Eric) King, Frank (Stacey) Kindle, and Ryan (Katrina) Kindle; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kayleigh, Kenadie, Mason, Cameron and Dylan; his siblings, Melvin, J.W., Hillard, Cecil, and Peggy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nettie Sparks; daughter, Ashley Sparks; and siblings, Christine, Donna Jean, Marjorie Faye, David, and Delois.A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 9:00am until 11:00am with the funeral service commencing at 11:00am at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E.
