Leona M. Morris

Leona M. Morris, 94, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, in Libertyville, IL.  She was born August 11, 1923 in Chicago to Sylvester and Marcyanna Janasiewicz.  Leona was a member of St. Gilbert Parish.  Leona is survived by her son Robert (Christine) Morris, her grandchildren Raymond (Andrea) Morris and Daniel Morris, her great-grandson Joseph Dashiell Morris, and her nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Morris, her parents, and her son Richard Morris.  A visitation and funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a funeral mass at 11:00am at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.  Interment will be held following the service at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
