Larry W. Thomas

Larry W. Thomas, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.  He was born on May 29, 1955 in Chicago to William and Lyndell Thomas.  He considered Iron River, Wisconsin his paradise.  He recently retired from Jewel.  Larry also deeply loved his family.  He is survived by his wife,  Hilda, whom he married on April 24, 1992.  He is further survived by his mother, Lyndell Hall, his son, Steven Thomas; his step-children, Karen McNutt, Terri (Lawrence) Anderson, Steven McNutt, Peggy McNutt, and Lynn (Jerry) Pounds;  grandchildren, Christina Pounds and Curtis Pounds; and siblings, Linda Thomas, Joe Thomas, Russell Thomas, Jerry Pounds and Terry Pounds.  He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Johnny Thomas.  All services were held privately.  Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  For more information, please call 847-223-8122 or log onto www.StrangFuneral.org .
