Larry W. Smith

Larry W Smith, 67, beloved husband of Barbara, passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. Larry was born July 22, 1945 and was a long time resident of Round Lake Park, IL. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Barbara (nee: Bechtel) Smith, his brother Jerry (Von) Smith, his sisters Belinda (Dan) Mateja, Tina (Alex) Hernandez, his sons Eric (Chrissy) Smith, Darrin (Julie) Smith, Joseph (Lori) Smith, his daughters Michelle (Shannon) Strickland, and Jaclyn (Jimmy) Vatistas, and his 14 grandchildren, and his 8 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Ronnie and Jimmy. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday March 2, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral service will be held on Sunday March 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the funeral chapel.
