Josephine V. Loar

Josephine Virginia Loar, 91, a resident of Grayslake, Il passed away Friday March 31, 2017 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL .  She was born February 20, 1926 in Chicago to Jerome and Mary (nee: Perone) Genualdi.  Josephine loved to cook, knit, and crochet, but most of all loved her family.  Josephine is survived by her children James Loar of Round Lake Beach, Gail Loar of Summerville, South Carolina, Jerome Loar of Salem, WI, and Mary K. "Sugar" (James) Klingberg of Lake Villa, her nine grandchildren, her 11 great-grandchildren, and her brother Vincent "Hap" (Joanna) Genualdi of Wauconda.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, and her brother Salvatore Genualdi.  All funeral arrangements were held privately and entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium.  For more information please contact  (847)223-8122 or log onto www.strangfuneral.org.
