John E. Joyce

John E. Joyce, 88, a resident of Wildwood, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019, at Travanse Living in Grayslake, IL.  He was born April 19, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Patrick and Margaret Joyce.  John was a veteran having served for the US Navy and was a retiree of People's Gas in Chicago.  John is survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his children Kathleen and John Joyce, his wife Dorothy Joyce, and his brothers Michael, William, James, and Thomas Joyce.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
