John S. Aprile Jr.

John S. Aprile Jr., 57, a resident of Joliet, IL with his brother Michael Aprile for two years and his mother for the last two months, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Presence Markel Knipprath in Clifton, IL.  He was born August 22, 1959 in Kankakee, IL to John Sr. and Mona (nee: Scurrah) Aprile.  John loved animals and sports.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding his Harley motorcycle with his brother Michael.  John is survived by his mother Mona Aprile, his children Chris (fiancé Kelli Nicole) Aprile of Peoria, and Kourtney Aprile of Springfield, his 3 wonderful grandchildren, and his siblings Tina Andrews of Onarga, IL, Micheal Aprile of Joliet, and Dawn Aprile and her husband of Wisconsin Dells.  He was preceded in death by his father.  All funeral arrangements were privately held and entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
