Jesus Amaro

Jesus Amaro, 72, a resident of Round Lake, passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones, Friday, December 1, 2017, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born May 15, 1945 in Monterrey, NL. Mexico to Florencio and Belen Amaro.  Jesus was devoted to his church and family.  He made an impact to all those that knew him and knew of him.  He loved a variety of music especially classical.  Jesus is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lillian, his children Marcela Amaro, Ezequiel (Janette) Amaro, and Daniel (Nora) Amaro, his grandchildren Alexander Silva, Julio Silva, Alex Acevedo-Amaro, Ayden Amaro, Mike Sanchez, and Lisette Sanchez, his great-grandchildren Joshua Silva and Madelyn Aguilar, his sister Rosa Maria Castañeda, his niece and nephews Claudia Esper, Pedro Castañeda, and Samuel Castañeda, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Daniel and Manuel.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
