Jean M. Batz

Jean M. Batz, 82, of Grayslake, Il, passed away August 23, 2015 in Libertyville, Il,. Jean was born on October, 25, 1932, in Berwyn, Il, to Arthur and Florence Schnurstein nee Pergler. Jean loved playing cards with her friends, she also enjoyed making greeting cards Jean also liked to fish, and bowl, and she was an avid Cubs fan. Jean's survivors include her children Dale (Deanna) Pisano, of Lombard, Il, Kerri (Ron)Essig, Island Lake, Il, Kurt (Dorothy) Mundelein, Il, her grandchildren Brandy (Kelly) of Bolingbrook, Il, Rocco (Beth) Warrenville, Il, Vincent, Lombard, Il, Chantelle (Alejandro) of Utah, and Mary (Raul) Mundelein, Il, her great- grandchildren Paige, Brock, Luke, Carter, Desiraena, Elosia, and Tomas, and her sister Elaine, of Florida. Jean was preceded in death by her husband August, and by her aforementioned parents. There will be a public visitation for Jean on Sunday, August 30, from 1-2 P.M. with a funeral service starting at 2 P.M. services will at the Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 410 E.
