Jay Forrest Gilliland

Jay Forrest Gilliland, 69, of Antioch, Il, passed away on May 15, 2015, at the V.A. Hospital in Milwaukee, Wi. Jay was born on August 3, 1945, in Chicago, Il to Fenton John , Eleanor Gilliland nee Johnson. Jay was an avid golfer, he was in a golf league for the past 40 years with his high school friends, after Jay retired as a car salesman he started building bird houses, Jay was also an avid photographer, and loved taking pictures of nature. Jay also had a love for computers. Survivors include Jays significant other Carol of over 15 years, his children Todd (Liz) Bristol, Wi, Nicole (Jerry)Curran Trevor, Wi, Paige (Pete)Houle Spring Grove, Il, his grandchildren Jay, Joey, Taylor, Amber, Grace, William, and by his sister Nancy(Tom)Pickens Pleasant Prairie, Wi, . Jay was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents. There will be a visitation for Jay on Thursday May 21, from 4 P.M. till 8 P.M. with a funeral service starting at 8 P.M. at the Strang Funeral Chapel 410 E.
