Janet K. Morris

Janet Kay Morris, 56, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. She was born on December 6, 1961 in Waukegan to Larry Gene and Barbara Hermon. Janet is survived by her husband, Ralph, of 32 years; her father, Larry Gene Hermon; her children, Cynthia Ryckman of Grayslake, Justin (Gina) Morris of Valdosta, GA, and Brandon Morris of Grayslake; her grandchildren, Griffin Ryckman, Theresa Morris, Audrey Morris and Joseph Morris; and sisters, Pam Hermon of West Dundee and Chery Hermon of Lake in the Hills. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Hermon. A visitation and memorial service is scheduled for Monday, October 22, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a memorial service commencing at 7:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
