Jane C. De Bello

Jane C. De Bello, 79, a resident of Wildwood, IL, passed away April 15, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born February 21, 1947 in Springfield, IL to Elmer and Marjorie Luebke.

Jane was an avid shopper who never passed up a good sale. She enjoyed long chats and reminiscing with everybody. One of her favorite traditions was hosting the family for an annual Memorial Day Picnic. Through the years, she loved to crochet blankets and other fun items for family.  Her pumpkin bars were the absolute best dessert.  Jane’s family and friends will hold onto many cherished memories, especially of her distinctive and infectious laugh.

Jane was the loving wife to the late Donald R. De Bello, the beloved sister of David Luebke, Heather Kopernik, and Douglas (Randi) Erker, and the loving aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and a great-great nephew.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday April 22, 2026 at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the services at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
