James E. Jobes Ii

James E. Jobes II, 86, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away November 26, 2022 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born January 1, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to Gladys and James E. Jobes I.

Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marjie Jobes, his children Sarah Jane (Cornelius) Carr, Jim (Cristiane) Jobes III, and Emily (Robert) Winkler, his grandchildren Mateus Jobes, Isabella Jobes, Chloe Winkler and Phoebe Winkler, and his cousin Norman Wiseman.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Jane Berglund.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 9, 2022 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  A memorial mass is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church 31 Park Ave. Grayslake, IL 60030.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Grayslake https://www.standrewsgrayslake.org .
