James Burk

James A. Burk, 81, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away June 12, 2022 at his home.  He was born March 5, 1941 in Oneida, TN to James and Sally Burk.

James was a member Heartland Baptist Church where he enjoyed serving for the Lord.  He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, watching wrestling, football, and the Chicago Cubs.

James is survived by his children Tracy Burk, Michelle Burk, and Rebecca (Donald) Deibert, his grandchildren Christopher Burk, Zachary Burk, Kaitlyn Deibert, and Brianna Deibert, his siblings Zola Brewster, Geneva Koger, and Arlie Burk, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Peggy, and his brothers Floyd, Cletus, Ethol, and Otis Burk.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a funeral service commencing at 11:00am.  Interment will be held privately.  For more information log onto www.strangfuneral.org or contact (847)223-8122.
