Imelda M. Maravillas

Imelda M. Maravillas, 59, a resident of Round Lake Park, IL, passed away on October 1, 2025 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born on April 16, 1966 in Mexico to Antonio Cancino and Imelda Garcia.

Imelda is survived by her husband, Pedro Maravillas, of 22 years whom she married on February 28, 2003 in Waukegan, IL; her children, Jose Martinez, Javier Maravillas, and Andrea Maravillas; and her siblings, Antonio Cancino, Jose Cancino, Cristina Cancino, Nancy Martinez, Arnold Cancino, and Alex Cancino. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 3pm until 7pm, with a funeral service beginning at 7pm.
