Hugh E. Myers

Hugh E. Myers, formerly of Wildwood, passed away Wednesday November 20, 2013 at his home in Mesa, AZ at the age of 86. He was born May 25, 1927 in Giles County, TN to Elmer and Della Myers. Hugh owned and operated service stations for 35 years in Lake County including Lake Villa, Grayslake, Gages Lake, and North Chicago. He liked to hunt, fish, garden, bowl, and casino hop with family and friends. Hugh was the beloved husband of Ellie Jean for 62 years, the loving father to Betty (Terry) Yarnall, Nancy (William) DeVore, and Paula (Jeff) Martin, adoring grandpa to 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his 2 sisters. Friends of the family may visit Friday, November 29, 2013 from 9:00am until 12:00 pm with a funeral service commencing at 12:00pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E.
