Helen Kerner

Helen Kerner of Ingleside, Illinois, on July 24, 2024, left this earth to join her beloved husband Hadyn, parents and sister who preceded her in death. She was born on November 28, 1938, in Kiev and emigrated to the United States where she met her husband and started a family in Glendale Heights and later moved to Ingleside. She will be dearly missed by her surviving daughters, Monica (Rudy) Lindner, Deborah Kerner, her grandson Hadyn (Natalie) Cortez, great grandson Graham, cousins, and countless friends including those from her bookclub. She earned an Associates Degree at the College of DuPage, was an I.S.I.A. registered ice skating instructor for 20 years, and was an avid gardener and winner of Chicago Tribune's 1997 Garden Contest, veggie category. Interment was privately held at Windridge Cemetery, Cary, IL. In lieu of flowers, please pass on her love for others by doing random acts of kindness.
