Heidi L. Johnson

Heidi L. Johnson, 74, a resident of Gurnee, IL, passed away December 16, 2024, at her home.  She was born September 22, 1950, in Chicago, IL to Donald and Kathryn (nee: Kirkwood) Johnson.

Heidi was a strong, loving, caring, helpful, funny person.  Her strength was an inspiration. She loved spending time with her family and her fur children.  Sitting with her bird Chempy on her head, taking her dog Sandy for walks and to the dog park were some of her favorite things.  She retired from the post office after many years and drove a school bus for a short time after that.  She will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed.

Heidi is survived by her sister Kathy (Jeff) Lippeth of Grayslake, IL, her nieces Jen Gray, Sarah (Janson) Luedtke, and Anna Lippeth, her nephew Jake (Tiffany) Johnson, her great-nieces and great-nephews Dominic, Lily, Cash, Barrett, Elle, Quinn, Serenity and Jacob, her loving aunts and uncle Delores Robbins, George Kirkwood, Madely Bruno, and many cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe Borgini, her brother Eric Johnson, her son Jason Johnson, her niece Erica Johnson, and her precious pets Sandy Chemper.
