Hal I. Nachenberg

Hal Nachenberg passed away peacefully at his home on October 16, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. He received his degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois. Living and working in downtown Chicago, he met and married Diane Bond. They were married 45 years. Hal’s greatest joy was being the proud father of Brian and Andrew (A.J). He along side with Kayhan started his company, EDI International. He traveled the world working on projects with Motorola. He was proud to have served on the Grayslake zoning and planning board for 30 years. His passions include working on the house, gardening, travel and antiques. He loved restoring and working on his Chris Craft boat, truck, corvette and old Coca Cola machines.
