Gregory Michael Corcoran

Gregory Michael Corcoran, 64, a resident of Round Lake, IL, passed away on March 20, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.

Gregory is survived by his wife, Laura, of 44 years who he married on November 14, 1981 in El Paso, TX; his children, Patrick (Shivani) of Mundelein, Heather (Joseph) Ergish of Round Lake, Rachel (Richard) Edwards of Yorkville, and Sean (Krystal) of Round Lake; his grandchildren, Alison, Richard, Loralee, Zachery, Koby (Iri), Nicholas, and Autumn (Tony) Dinh; his great granddaughters, Vivianna and Leilani; his siblings, Christine (Jim) Purinton of Northbrook, Sandy (Jeff) Rogers of Franklin, WI, and Valerie (Dirk) Dykstra of Texas; and many nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glenny.

He lived by a clear set of values defined by four great loves: his wife, who was his constant partner; his children, who were his greatest legacy; his craft as a carpenter; and his time in the Army. He credited the military with his very survival, finding there the discipline and integrity that guided him as a man and a father.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 1170, 111 E Main Street, Round Lake Park, IL 60073 on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1pm.
