Grace M. Finney

Grace M. Finney, 73, a resident of Round Lake, IL passed away Monday, September 30, 2019.  She was born July 10, 1946 in Chicago to John Daniel Mitchell and Loretta Steffans. She was a member of Living Waters Church in Grayslake. She is survived by her husband, Donald of 15 years whom she married on May 1, 2004 in Chicago Ridge.  She is further survived by her children, Loretta E. (Robert E. Schell) Meyer Schell of Owensboro, KY and James A. Meyer, Jr. of Blue Island, IL; grandchildren, Trinity Elaine Meyer of Gary, IN, Robert Mitchell Schell of Owensboro, KY, and Christopher William Schell of Owensboro, KY; 5 step-children; and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Mitchell; and sister in law, Jackie Mitchell.  A visitation and funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 4:00pm.
