Glenda Mae Wray

Glenda Mae Wray, 74, a resident of Volo, IL, passed away on January 22, 2026. She was born on November 15, 1951 in Ridgely, Tennessee to JW and Clodie Braddy.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Wray, whom she married on January 15, 1972 in Chicago; her children, Tammy (Summer) Wray of Island Lake, IL, Tina (Steve) Herczeg of Mundelein, IL, and Ronald "Brandon" Wray of Volo, IL; and her granddaughter, Emily Herczeg. She was preceded in death by her parents, JW and Clodie Braddy; and her siblings, Gary Braddy, Sheila Hedges, and Billy Braddy. 

A visitation will held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 4pm until 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11am.
