George K. Schroeder

George K. Schroeder, 92, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away November 29, 2022, at his home.  He was born November 25, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to George and Mildred Schroeder.

George graduated and attended High School in New York.  He worked in Brooklyn, NY making smoking pipes and later worked as a custodian for 10 years in the Round Lake School District.  He moved to Illinois in the mid 1980's where he resided with his brother and sister-in-law.

George is survived by his sister-in-law Maureen Schroeder and many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert Schroeder.

A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00am until 12:00pm with the service commencing at 12:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
