George R. Dorn, Jr.

George R. Dorn, Jr., 57, a resident of Volo, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home.  He was born March 27, 1961 in Maywood Park, IL to George Sr. and Shirley Dorn.  George is survived by his wife, Loretta; his parents; his son, Jeremy Dorn, his step-children Anastasia (Charles) Yeoman, Thomas (Lauren) Tockey and Janelle Berger; his sister, Liz Dorn; niece, Brooke Valent and nephew, Benjamin Valent.  He is preceded in death by his step-son, Eric Berger.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 5:00pm on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's name to www.pancan.org .
