George A. Balling

George Anthony Balling, age 74, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on October 22, 2022 in Round Lake, IL.  He was born in February 24, 1948 in Chicago to Stephen Balling and Louise Kula.  George is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol (nee Miller) Balling; his children, Julie (Jason) Holdeman of Hainesville, Andrew (Meg) Balling of Gurnee, and Matthew (Crystal) Balling of Antioch; his grandchildren, Jorah Holdeman, Jillian Holdeman, Jenna Holdeman, Caleb Balling, Avery Balling and Carson Balling; and his sister, Mary Cordes of Huntley.  He was preceded in death by is parents; his brother-in-law, Larry Cordes; and his parents-in-law, Jewell and Dorothy Miller.  A memorial service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:00pm.  A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30am until the time of the memorial service.  Interment will be held privately.  For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral .org.
