Gail H. Ortberg

Gail Helene Ortberg, age 60, a resident of Wildwood, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at home. She was born on May 20, 1958 in Evanston to Bernard and Betty Ekstrom. Gail attended Wildwood Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Kyle, whom she married on June 25, 1983 in Northbrook; her sons, Nicholas (Kelly McElroy) Ortberg of Island Lake and Erik (Rachael Stich) Ortberg of Kenosha, WI; her grandchildren, Aubrey Ortberg of Island Lake, Adelyn Ortberg of Island Lake, Penelope Ortberg of Kenosha, WI and Owen Ortberg of Kenosha, WI; her sister, Linda Moss of New York, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Ekstrom. A visitation and memorial service are scheduled for Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
