Gail Joyce Doucet

Gail Joyce Doucet, age 64, passed away on April 21st, 2016 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville, Illinois. She was born in Evanston, Illinois on August 28, 1951. She was a long-time resident of Wauconda, Illinois. As a young woman Gail enjoyed traveling across the world. She worked as a television meteorologist for several stations across the U.S. before returning to college. She earned a total of three Master's Degrees. Gail was employed at Round Lake Middle School where she worked as a Special Education teacher. She was an educator for 16 years. Gail is survived by her daughter, Alissa Doucet of Chicago; her son, Brian Doucet of Wauconda; and her brothers Paul and Barry Broadhead. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary-Jane and Ray Broadhead.  A visitation and memorial service will be held this Saturday, April 30, 2016 at at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, Illinois 60030. The visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and the memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Round Lake Area School Education Foundation.
