Florence M. Hironimus, 94, formerly of Waukegan, passed away Friday April 24, 2015. She was born June 12, 1920 in Bland, MO to Henry and Una Aufder Heide. Florence was retired from the North Chicago VA Medical Center. She was a member of the Osage County Historical Society in Missouri, Lake County Geneological Society, Lake County Fair Association, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Florence is survived by her son Lonnie (Sue) Hironimus of Bristol, WI, her grandchildren Lynn (John) Salisbury, Craig Hironimus, Brad (Nicki) Hironimus, and Kurt (Lisa) Hironimus, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and her sister Floreine Stockton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford Hironimus in 1972, her sisters Wilma Ruth Aufder Heide, Lois Beasley, and Sarah Bock and her brothers Warren Artur and David Robert Aufder Heide. A visitation is scheduled for Monday April 27, 2015 from ¬10:00am until 11:00am with a service commencing at 11:00am at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will immediately follow at Warren Cemetery in Gurnee, IL. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Zion, IL.
