Florence L. Knight

Florence L. Knight was born on November 4, 1928 in Chicago and she entered her Eternal home on September 25, 2020.  She grew up in Ritchey, IL and her family moved back to Chicago in 1943.  In 1949, she married Louis Knight, who preceded her in death.  They had two sons, Lance (Bobbie) and Lincoln.  She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.  Florence was a charter member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church, where she served as Clerk of Session for 37 years.  Governor Edgar proclaimed January 29, 1992 as "Florence Knight Day" in the State of Illinois in honor of her service at Wildwood Presbyterian Church.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 10:30am until 12:30pm with a funeral service commencing at 12:30pm at Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 18630 W Old Gages Lake Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030.
