Florence M. Damptz

Florence "Flo" M. (Cline) Damptz (73), of Hainesville, IL, passed away in March 14, 2021 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. Flo was born on June 15, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Harry E. and Dorothy (Bouchard) Cline, and married Richard J. Damptz on September 7, 1975. She retired from Rexam Beverage Can in 2017 after almost 30 years of service in the accounting department. Flo was an avid reader, crocheter, and Chicago Blackhawks fan.  She loved to laugh and drink wine, usually at the same time.

Flo is survived by her husband, daughter Rebecca Damptz of Decatur, IL, sister Dorothy Cline of Villa Park, IL, niece Carrie Karl (Joel Krestik) of Eugene, OR, nephews Thomas (Rebekah) Karl of Boyceville, WI and Edward (Katherine) Karl of White Bear Lake, MN, great niece Ruth Karl of White Bear Lake, MN, great nephew Caleb Karl of White Bear Lake, MN, and many loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mary Lou (Cline) Raymond and Carol Ann (Cline) Karl, and brother-in-law Edward "Butch" Karl.

The family would like to thank the hardworking doctors, nurses, and staff at both Elmhurst and Condell hospitals, and of Park Place of Elmhurst and Astra Health.

In her memory, take some time to drink wine, laugh at a fart joke, and eat some Peeps.
