Eugene "Gene" Czarnik, 84, beloved husband for 61 years to Arlene (nee Schmidt). Loving father of John (Melanie). Dear son of Benedict and Victoria (nee Bomba) Czarnik, brother of Benedict Czarnik, Jr. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Cousin and friend to many. He was an employee of AT&T and affilates for 39 years. All who knew Gene will miss him.
A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm and Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 9am until 10am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 10am. Interment will be held privately at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
